Stephen Curry agreed Friday to a two-year, $116 million Warriors extension. ESPN’s Bobby Marks estimates it puts Curry at about $652 million in career on-court earnings, making him the first NBA player to pass $600 million.
Marks’ figures place Kevin Durant second at about $598 million, followed by LeBron James at $592 million and Kawhi Leonard at $543 million. Paul George, Joel Embiid, Donovan Mitchell and James Harden are also above $500 million.
Curry was eligible for a two-year maximum worth $136 million but agreed to $116 million, leaving Golden State about $20 million in flexibility to build around him, according to the report. The deal averages $58 million a year and includes a player option for 2028-29.
