Israel says Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr, documented abducting Argamani and Or, was killed

The IDF and Shin Bet say they killed Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr over the weekend. They said Sakr was documented abducting Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or from the Nova festival on Oct. 7, and that he supplied Hamas with weapons during the war.

The IDF said Sakr was affiliated with global jihadist organizations operating in Gaza and had advanced attacks against troops and Israeli civilians. Argamani was rescued in June 2024; Or was released in October 2025 under US President Donald Trump's Gaza deal.
