Houthi rebels said an airstrike near Taiz’s central market killed at least seven people and injured 40, blaming Saudi Arabia’s air force. Yemeni government-aligned troops said their air force struck a Houthi depot and vehicles; the claims could not be independently verified.

Houthi television channel Al-Masirah showed footage of smoke and a destroyed warehouse stocked with food boxes. The Houthi health ministry accused Saudi Arabia of deliberately targeting civilian sites; that allegation could not be independently verified.

Renewed fighting is under way in several parts of Yemen and has displaced at least 125,000 people. The Houthis also claimed Saudi Arabia carried out around two dozen strikes in 24 hours and more than 1,000 since the latest escalation began.
