Two arrested at Liverpool protest backing Palestine Action outside Labour conference

Police arrested two people at a Liverpool protest backing Palestine Action outside the Labour conference. More than 200 demonstrators sat outside; one was an elderly man sitting under a tree, while the other was led away after police said his sign supported a banned group.

Many demonstrators held homemade banners reading “I support Palestine Action.” More protesters were expected to sit in the same spot after the arrests.
