Frederik and Mary expected back at Amalienborg after summer stay

King Frederik and Queen Mary are expected to move from Chancellery House at Fredensborg Palace to their winter home at Amalienborg in Copenhagen on 26 September, after a four-month seasonal stay. They are due to remain there until spring.

Amalienborg has served as an official royal residence for more than 200 years and comprises four palaces around an octagonal courtyard. The couple stay at Frederik VIII's Palace as their private family residence during the winter months.
