Denver promoted long snapper Mitchell Fraboni to its 53-man roster and elevated fullback Adam Prentice and rookie returner Kolbe Katsis for Sunday's Rams game. Katsis is in line to return kicks with Marvin Mims questionable because of a foot injury.
The 53-man opening followed Denver's placement of rookie running back Jonah Coleman on short-term injured reserve with a high ankle sprain. Prentice's elevation is his third and final; Denver would need to open a roster spot to use him again.
Prentice could serve as the starting fullback, lead blocker and short-yardage specialist, as well as contribute on special teams. Katsis could make his debut as a kick and punt returner.
