Former Gonzaga standout Drew Timme has agreed to a Minnesota Timberwolves training-camp deal, league sources told HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto. The 6-foot-9 forward will compete for a roster spot; he has averaged 5.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in 36 NBA appearances.
Minnesota has 13 guaranteed standard contracts for its 15-player roster, with all three two-way spots filled. Forwards KJ Martin and Norchad Omier have also signed training-camp deals, adding competition in the frontcourt.
Timme played for the Los Angeles Lakers on a two-way contract in 2025-26. If Minnesota waives him, the article says he will probably join the Timberwolves’ G League affiliate, the Iowa Wolves.
