Crow-Armstrong pairs a 40-40 season with top run-value rankings

Pete Crow-Armstrong joined the 40-40 club with 45 home runs and 40 stolen bases; Sarah Langs’ figures place him in the 100th percentile for batting and fielding run value and 99th for overall run value. The Cubs have clinched a playoff spot.

Crow-Armstrong was batting .280 with 174 hits and 107 RBIs. Jon Heyman of The New York Post called it “one of the greatest seasons ever,” adding, “In some ways the greatest.”
