Corey Heim was struck multiple times in an infield confrontation involving Chad Bryant Racing crew members after Martinsville’s ValleyStar Credit Union 300. A police officer escorted him away; the fight followed a post-race collision with Treyten Lapcevich.
At the white flag, Heim made contact with Lapcevich while they battled for second behind Caden Kvapil, who went on to win. Heim finished second and Lapcevich third. After the race, Heim drove into Lapcevich’s car; both cars sustained major damage.
Lapcevich had also tried to confront Heim on pit road, but his team intervened before the infield altercation. Heim had previously driven for Chad Bryant, making 13 ARCA starts for him in 2019.
