BeBasket reported that Gonzaga’s Nathan De Sousa has been cleared to play in 2026-27. The 23-year-old French guard averaged 10.9 points and 4.9 assists in 29 games for Cholet Basket last season, and joined Gonzaga in Spokane on Aug. 29.
De Sousa spent the previous five seasons with Cholet in France’s LNB Elite. In 2025-26, he shot 44.7% from the field, 36.1% from three and 76.9% on free throws, while averaging 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 steals.
Gonzaga’s roster remains unfinished: Florida transfer Xaivian Lee is awaiting a trial with the NCAA next week over his eligibility.
