Los Angeles will begin the 2026 National League Division Series at Dodger Stadium on Oct. 3. Atlanta’s Thursday loss clinched at least the NL’s No. 2 seed for the Dodgers, securing a bye through the wild-card round; the top seed remains in play.
Milwaukee leads Los Angeles by 2½ games for the NL’s No. 1 seed. The Dodgers must win their last four regular-season games and Milwaukee lose all three this weekend to overtake the Brewers. Games 1 and 2 are scheduled at Dodger Stadium on Oct. 3 and 4; Game 3 is Oct. 6, and Games 4 and 5 are Oct. 7 and 9 if needed, with Game 5 back in Los Angeles. Start times have not been announced. Fox Sports will televise both NLDS, but the Fox/FS1 game split is pending.
The Dodgers are making their 14th straight NLDS appearance, which the report says ties Atlanta’s 1991–2005 run for MLB’s longest consecutive playoff-berth streak. Los Angeles has five days off before the postseason. This week, Andy Pages (broken left hand), Shohei Ohtani (left-biceps inflammation) and Roki Sasaki (right middle-finger blister) were activated from the injured list; Blake Snell, Freddie Freeman and Edgardo Henriquez were also nursing injuries. Henriquez was on the injured list with low-back discomfort.
