Angie Katsanevas says her “You do French fries, I do franchise” exchange with Lisa Barlow on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” went viral, leading to an Arby’s partnership and her testimony to Congress in support of the American Franchise Act.
Katsanevas said she made the quip while defending her franchise businesses after Barlow questioned her claim to own all her Lunatic Fringe salons. She also collaborated with the International Franchise Association and testified in support of the American Franchise Act, which she said would establish a joint-employer standard for franchisors and franchisees.
Katsanevas says she has an Arby’s black card for “curly fries for life” and highlighted the restaurant’s Loaded Rewards program. It offers 10 points per dollar spent, personalized offers and double points on double-meat sandwiches.
