New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson denies the accuser’s rape and abuse allegations in a court filing, describing their relationship as infrequent and consensual. His lawyers also argue the statute of limitations has expired on every claim.
The accuser’s second amended complaint, filed in June, alleges Williamson raped her twice in 2020 at a Beverly Hills apartment he rented and continued to abuse her in California, Louisiana and Texas until their relationship ended in 2023. It also alleges he strangled her repeatedly, sometimes until she lost consciousness, suffocated or smothered her, struck and kicked her, threatened to kill her and members of her family, and pointed a loaded firearm at her head. The suit says he was either drunk or on cocaine during many alleged acts.
The complaint lists claims of assault, battery, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, domestic violence and stalking. A jury trial is scheduled for April 2028.
