X has launched an updated livestream API that lets third-party video platforms facilitate X streams and gives creators tools to schedule broadcasts, publish and monitor them, and read, reply to or moderate live chats, including muting or removing viewers.
The API also supports managing persistent RTMP streams.
In July, X introduced an updated livestreaming command center in Creator Studio, designed to make it easier for creators to schedule and run broadcasts in the app.
