West Mercia Police said a 17-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving after a man in his 60s died in a collision between a car and a cyclist on Worcester’s A4440 Swinesherd Way at about 22:15 BST Friday. She is helping police with inquiries.
The man suffered serious injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene. Police said the white Suzuki Swift was travelling from the Whittington Road junction along Swinesherd Way towards the A44. They are seeking witnesses who saw the vehicles or anyone with dashcam footage.
