Wisconsin erased Penn State’s 17-0 first-half lead and won 24-20 at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, its first victory there since 2003. Jacob Harris’s 72-yard touchdown catch put the Badgers ahead, and Penn State’s final Hail Mary fell incomplete.
Penn State’s defense intercepted Colton Joseph twice in the first half: freshman Josiah Zayas returned the first pick 51 yards for a touchdown, and Daryus Dixon’s interception set up Rocco Becht’s quarterback-draw score. Joseph ran for a seven-yard touchdown before halftime, and Eugene Hilton caught a touchdown on a 10-play, 75-yard drive late in the game.
Penn State is scheduled to play at Northwestern on Friday night, with kickoff at 8 p.m. on Fox.
