The White House has again removed CNN from the TV pool covering Donald Trump, blocking it from flying with him to Tennessee on Saturday. The network returned to the rotation Friday, one day after a judge ordered its White House credentials reinstated.
Last week, Trump barred CNN, Politico and MS NOW from White House grounds. A federal judge ordered credentials reinstated Thursday, concluding the ban violated due-process rights; the order did not address CNN’s separate removal from the TV pool. After CNN was removed Sunday, CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox declined to replace it, suspending pool coverage for most of the week.
