Vivo’s Camera Screen is a wireless AMOLED viewfinder for the X500 series that doubles as a touchscreen remote, letting users frame selfies and control camera modes, zoom and focus from a tripod. A T3 writer says early tests worked smoothly over Bluetooth.
A Qi2-style magnetic ring attaches the display to compatible cases. Vivo is launching it for CNY699 (about $105), and the writer found its AMOLED panel much easier to scratch than phone-screen glass.
The T3 writer, an iPhone user, would like a similar accessory for iOS, but the article does not establish that Vivo’s display works with iPhones. The writer says a third-party version would need to come at a reasonable price.
