Venice Token’s near-1,800% rise this year comes with risks

Motley Fool

Venice AI’s Venice Token has risen nearly 1,800% this year. Staking unlocks higher tiers and daily AI capacity; part of subscription revenue funds buybacks and burns. A few whales hold most tokens; some past gains were driven by leveraged liquidations.

Venice AI describes itself as privacy-first and offers access to more than 200 open-source models for text, images and code. In July, it raised $65 million in a Series A at a $1 billion valuation; the company said it had 3.5 million registered users and processed 1.3 million tokens a month.

Venice AI is adding stablecoin integrations for autonomous AI agents, which the article says could attract outside developers and agents. The article warns the token could surrender recent gains if Venice remains niche or competition from similar decentralized AI platforms intensifies.
