Joziah Carey-Nichols and Ousman Faal were jailed for robbing a Woking phone shop of more than £13,000 in handsets. They pleaded guilty after threatening a staff member; Faal received three years and Carey-Nichols two and a half years.
On 3 May, the masked pair grabbed an employee shortly after 11:00 BST and forced them to open a locked storage cage at the rear of the shop. Surrey Police said CCTV, automatic number plate recognition data and mobile-phone analysis helped identify them; both were arrested at London homes after officers forced entry.
