Todd McShay sees Kentucky as a potential College Football Playoff surprise

After Kentucky's win at No. 9 Texas A&M on Saturday, analyst Todd McShay said on his podcast he is buying the Wildcats as an SEC team capable of an unexpected College Football Playoff run and predicted they could become one of the season's biggest stories.

McShay called coach Will Stein a “quarterback whisperer,” citing Bo Nix, Dillon Gabriel and Dante Moore as examples of his work with quarterbacks. He also pointed to Kentucky's schedule and confidence on offense and at quarterback.
