Thunderobot has released its 16-inch AI Master M7000 mobile workstation, with 64GB of memory and a 160W operating profile. The company says an 85GB SSD cache lets it run GPT-OSS-120B locally despite its 64GB of physical memory.
The 768GB drive allocates 85GB to Phison's aiDAPTIV+ cache, which stores selected AI data on the SSD—not as extra RAM—when unified memory is constrained. That data can include key-value cache, less-active mixture-of-experts components and model data needed again during processing.
Thunderobot lists the M7000 at 24,999 yuan in China, roughly $3,733 at the exchange rate cited in the article. It has a 2560×1600, 165Hz display and a 99Wh battery, and weighs 2.45kg.
