Philadelphia ruled out Dallas Goedert, Hollywood Brown and Fred Johnson for Monday’s game at Chicago; Jonathan Greenard is questionable after a full practice. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is out, and Tyson Bagent is questionable in concussion protocol.
Goedert is expected to miss multiple games with a knee injury. Philadelphia is expected to temporarily elevate Zach Ertz from the practice squad before 4 p.m. ET Monday; Ertz, Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins are expected to form the Eagles’ tight-end group.
Caleb Williams was unable to practice this week after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 2. Tyson Bagent missed the previous two practices but was a full participant Saturday and had not officially cleared concussion protocol; if he cannot play, Chicago would be down to third-string quarterback Case Keenum. Greenard, ruled out of Philadelphia’s first two games, practiced fully Saturday, but coach Vic Fangio cautioned that he is not ready for a normal snap workload even if active.
