Tektronix’s DPO718AX oscilloscope offers eight synchronized channels rated up to 25GHz each, with a base price of $308,000. Its 38.1kg chassis houses a 12-core AMD EPYC CPU, Nvidia T1000 GPU, 96GB RAM and a removable NVMe SSD of at least 1.6TB; Windows 10 LTSC 2021 is optional.
Windows 10 LTSC 2021 is not installed by default; users can opt for it on a secondary removable drive. The software is required for the DPO718AX’s supported compliance and RF-analysis tools.
The listed computer components are not recent: the AMD EPYC Embedded 3351 uses first-generation Zen cores and was released in February 2018, while the Nvidia T1000 workstation GPU launched in May 2021. The 15.6-inch touchscreen is Full HD, and DisplayPort output tops out at QHD and 60Hz.
