Tatiana Prozorova withdrew from the Singapore Open after an overhead struck her face in her doubles quarterfinal; she and partner Sofya Lansere retired after a medical timeout. The Athletic reported a concussion, ending her singles semifinal run.
Prozorova had reached the singles semifinals with three-set victories over Alexandra Eala and Xinyu Wang. Australian Talia Gibson advanced to the final, where she was set to meet the winner of the Leylah Fernandez–Maja Chwalinska semifinal.
