Tah says reaction to Florian Wirtz’s Liverpool form is “a bit extreme”

Germany defender Jonathan Tah defended Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz amid criticism in British sports media, calling the reaction “a bit extreme.” Tah said Wirtz is not playing badly and that a decisive pass or goal is sometimes just missing.

Tah spoke from Germany’s camp ahead of UEFA Nations League fixtures against Serbia and Greece. He said he watches every Liverpool match Wirtz plays and expects the midfielder to perform better.
