A T-Mobile customer says a five-line account’s bill rose from $148 to $239 after a plan switch, despite an online estimate of about $45–$50 more per month. The Reddit poster said customer service cited higher per-line and base-plan costs.
The customer said they switched from Essentials 2.0 to “Experience More w/appreciation savings” and were told returning to the old plan would also bring plan-change fees. Reddit commenters suggested taxes, fees, mid-cycle proration or add-ons could contribute; those explanations were not confirmed for this account.
