A fourth-generation Apple TV 4K surfaces in a leak, but specs remain unconfirmed

Gadget Review

A leaked Apple image labels an unreleased fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, but Apple has announced no launch date. Reports suggest an A19-generation chip, about 8GB of RAM and possible Apple Intelligence support; none of those details is confirmed.

MacRumors says the image matches the current model’s exterior, pointing to an internal rather than visible redesign. tvOS 27 may add a Siri app, though the scope of possible AI functions is unclear. An N1 wireless chip and revised Siri Remote are also rumored; Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread support remain unconfirmed.

According to MacRumors’ account of Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman’s reporting, the Apple TV and HomePod mini were described as nearly ready for a fall launch, but no schedule is confirmed. The current Apple TV starts at $199 for 64GB Wi-Fi or $249 for 128GB Wi-Fi plus Ethernet after a U.S. price increase in June; the rumored model’s price is unknown.
