At Caleb Flynn’s murder trial, an investigator said apparently AI-generated songs on his phone were tied to Alleigha Botner; one was played in court. Botner said lyrics referred to their secret meetings and first texts. Flynn has pleaded not guilty to killing Ashley Flynn.
Joseph Wilhelm, an Ohio BCI special agent, testified about data extracted from 12 devices during the investigation. He said social-media apps and an AI song-generation app were uninstalled from Flynn’s iPhone days before Ashley’s death on Feb. 16.
Botner testified that Flynn came to her home late at night and that they met early in the morning when he was supposed to be at the gym. She said the lyric about the third of every month referred to when they began texting. Botner said the song was intended to show how much Flynn cared about her, but its lyrics mean nothing to her now.
