Some viewers of the Sept. 22 “Wheel of Fortune” episode said their local broadcasts showed the “Glinda and Elphaba” prize puzzle twice instead of the Crossword round. Reports came from Detroit, Boston and St. Paul; other viewers said their episode aired normally.
Carmine Lucidi of Long Island solved “Glinda and Elphaba” and won a trip to Finland. The Crossword round, in the category “The Piano,” was solved by Pam Edwards of Cypress, Texas, with “Ivory, Key, Ebony, Strings.”
