Tarik Skubal struck out 10 over seven scoreless innings on 75 pitches, and solo homers by Teoscar Hernández and Andy Pages gave the Dodgers a 2-0 shutout win over the Giants Friday. Pages' homer was his first since returning from the injured list.
Skubal's outing was his final tuneup before his first postseason start with the Dodgers. Will Smith had three hits, while Shohei Ohtani went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts; Roki Sasaki struck out two in the eighth, and Tanner Scott recorded his 24th save.
The Dodgers and Giants are scheduled to meet again Saturday at 1:05 p.m. on SportsNet LA in the penultimate game of the regular season. Blake Snell is slated to start for Los Angeles against Giants left-hander Matt Wilkinson.
