All six SB Nation writers predict Arizona will beat Washington State on Saturday afternoon in Pullman, with score picks ranging from 24-21 to 45-17. The 2-1 Wildcats are 10.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, but have yet to cover a spread this season.
Kim Doss predicted 35-27, Ezra Amacher 37-27, Adam Green 31-23, Juan Serrano 31-17, Brandon Combs 45-17 and Brian Pedersen 24-21.
Arizona leads the series 28-19 and is 12-7 in Pullman, where it won in 2023. Writers cited Washington State’s defense and running game as possible challenges, but also pointed to the Cougars’ offensive struggles and Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita as reasons to favor the Wildcats.
