After her split from Sarper Guven, Shekinah Garner said she skipped the 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3 Tell All to protect her mental health; in a Sept. 22 statement, she said he had ignored her attempts to reach him for weeks.
Shekinah disputed Sarper’s statement that neither of them considers themselves married, saying she still does. She also said they had promised not to appear on 90 Day: The Single Life and that she intends to keep that promise, despite his alleged involvement in Season 6.
She said Sarper insisted she sit where he could see her at his comedy shows and laugh at jokes about their marriage, and that she was kicked off his tour last November. After returning to Los Angeles, she moved to Miami with her daughter, who attends college there.
