Alexander McQueen presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection at London Fashion Week for the first time since 2001, under creative director Seán McGirr. The London-focused show comes as owner Kering seeks to sharpen the house's British identity.
Kering's strategy report published in April called for a sharper British sartorial identity, with womenswear, tailoring and eveningwear at the core, alongside more focused collections and a right-sized retail network and organization. At September's London Fashion Week, accredited buyer attendance rose 19% year on year and international buyer attendance rose 41%.
Kering's Other Houses division, which includes Alexander McQueen, reported 2025 revenue of €2.9 billion, down 10%, and an operating loss of €112 million, compared with €9 million the previous year. Kering appointed former Prada CEO Gianfranco D'Attis as McQueen's CEO in June 2026. Reuters reported the house's revenue had declined around 60% over three years; the brand confirmed UK office job cuts in 2025.
