Zendaya thought it was funny when stylist Law Roach said in March that she and Tom Holland had married, Roach said Sept. 22. Some of his later conflicting answers, he said, were deliberate because people should not use him for details of her private life.
On Sept. 17, Roach answered “No” when Jennifer Hudson asked if he would ever tell the truth about the wedding, saying it was the couple’s business to share. At the Emmys three days earlier, he said he had lied about the March announcement and that no “official” ceremony had yet taken place, but cautioned that his latest account might also be unreliable.
Holland has referred to Zendaya as his wife and said his family attended the wedding. People reported that the couple married privately earlier this year and later held a celebration for close family and friends on Aug. 4 at Beaverbrook hotel in Surrey, England.
