Real Madrid are considering bringing Como centre-back Jacobo Ramon back next summer as Antonio Rudiger’s contract nears expiry. Matteo Moretto, via Madrid Xtra, reports a buy-back option worth €8–9 million; no decision has been made.
Madrid sold Ramon to Como in 2025 for €2.5 million plus bonuses. Como acquired 50% of his rights, while Madrid retained the rest and three staggered buy-back options: €8 million for 2026, a more expensive option for 2027, and a further option in 2028.
Madrid’s decision not to bring Ramon back last summer was tied to Rudiger’s future: the club was prepared to move for the defender if Rudiger left, but the German agreed a new contract through 2027. Ramon stayed at Como for another season under Cesc Fabregas, after lacking a clear route into Madrid’s first team.
