Houston Texans receiver Nico Collins is doubtful for Sunday's Week 3 game at Indianapolis after missing practice Friday with a hamstring injury. At 0–2, Houston could be without its top receiving threat for a second straight game.
Collins injured his hamstring shortly before Week 2 against Cincinnati and missed that game. Coach DeMeco Ryans said the team was still monitoring his recovery. The report says doctors classified the injury as a Grade 1 strain and did not expect a long-term issue, while warning that a rushed return could risk reinjury.
Houston is expected to lean on Xavier Hutchinson, Kayshon Boutte and Jaylin Noel as C.J. Stroud’s top wideout targets. Collins had seven catches for 75 yards and a touchdown in the season opener.
