Netflix renewed The Beast in Me for season 2 on Sept. 24, with Claire Danes returning as Aggie Wiggs and co-showrunner Howard Gordon back. Matthew Rhys will not return: his character, Nile Jarvis, died in the first-season finale.
Production dates and a premiere date have not been announced, and details of season 2’s story are being kept under wraps.
Alongside the renewal, Gordon will develop new series exclusively for Netflix through his Teakwood Lane Productions under a partnership with the streamer.
