Nebraska swept Ohio State 3-0 (25-19, 25-10, 25-12) to close its three-week homestand. The Huskers pulled away after a close first set, hitting .258 for the match and holding Ohio State to a .086 hitting percentage; Skyler Pierce tied for the team lead with seven kills.
Pierce started while Teraya Sigler came in for back-row play. Pierce shared the seven-kill team high with Virginia Adriano and Mania Ogbechie; Andi Jackson, Bergan Reilly and Kenna Cogill each had four blocks.
Nebraska's next match is at No. 14 Penn State on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. on Big Ten Network.
