Nancy Mace’s fitted black jumpsuit on Thursday’s “Get Maced” episode prompted online Catwoman comparisons, including to Michelle Pfeiffer’s look in “Batman Returns.” The South Carolina congresswoman did not say the outfit was a costume or tribute.
The appearance followed Mace’s August reveal of her heavily tattooed arms on Get Maced. She had said she received nine tattoos during a difficult period in her life and later indicated the number had grown; she told TMZ she planned to add more while keeping them coverable when necessary.
Mace launched the YouTube program for commentary and interviews. Its less formal setting gives her more freedom to present herself differently from how she typically appears at congressional events.
