Comedian Carrot Top (Scott Thompson) is reportedly home recovering with family after a Sept. 18 suicide attempt, according to a People report citing a source close to him. The source said he was “doing well”; his Las Vegas residency shows have been halted.
A police incident report cited by Page Six said Thompson was found in his backyard after calling a member of his team while upset; his manager requested a welfare check, and Thompson was taken to hospital in critical condition. On Sept. 20, representative Jami Schlicher said he was awake, breathing on his own and continuing to improve.
