Meta's Muse AI agent reached Apple's App Store top spot. Meta added about $234 billion in market value over five days. Its 2025 $14.3 billion deal for Scale AI's staff brought Alexandr Wang to Meta as chief AI officer; he received about $5 billion in the deal.
At Meta Connect, Meta unveiled the Muse Charm, a standalone pocket device for voice interaction with its Muse agent, and Meta VR Glasses, which weigh 100 grams and cost $1,299. The VR glasses have 5K micro-OLED displays, tethered puck processing, and eye and hand tracking. Meta also debuted third-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses starting at $249 and camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses designed for open-ear listening and AI voice interaction.
Tech investor Adam Khoo said Meta's new AI products developed under Wang's leadership had added roughly $200 billion in market value, arguing that the result made the talent deal look worthwhile.
