Xiaomi launched its 18 Fold in China in September with three Leica rear cameras, including a 200MP main sensor, and a 6,000mAh battery. The iPhone Duo is reported to have two rear cameras; Xiaomi's overseas availability is unconfirmed.
The 18 Fold pairs its 200MP main camera with a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP periscope telephoto offering 3.5x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. The iPhone Duo is reported to have 48MP main and ultrawide cameras but no dedicated telephoto. Megapixel counts and Leica branding do not establish image quality; independent camera tests are not yet available.
The 18 Fold starts at roughly $1,600 in China, while the Duo's reported $1,999 price is a US launch figure, so the apparent $400 difference compares different markets. Import costs, taxes and the lack of a confirmed international release may quickly narrow the gap. Xiaomi says its battery supports 67W wired and 50W wireless charging; importing also raises questions about Google services, cellular-band support and warranty coverage.
