Pachuca Femenil appointed Spain’s Montse Tomé as coach after Óscar “Rambo” Torres was let go by mutual agreement over poor tournament results. The Tuzas enter Week 9 seventh, outside playoff places, with seven points from eight games and four consecutive defeats.
Torres had led Pachuca to its first league title and the Champions of Champions title. Tomé comes from an extensive career with Spain’s youth and senior national teams; her cited achievements include the 2023–24 Women’s Nations League, second place at the 2025 Euros and fourth place at the Paris Olympics.
