Left hamstring strain likely to sideline Hornets' Kon Knueppel at start of 2026-27 season

Charlotte Hornets forward Kon Knueppel is likely to miss the start of the 2026-27 season after straining his left hamstring, the team announced Friday. He finished second in Rookie of the Year voting last season and led the league with 273 made 3-pointers.

Knueppel averaged 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists, and shot 43% on 673 three-point attempts.
