Min Woo Lee said the International team may have celebrated too much Friday after a strong start at the Presidents Cup. The U.S. had the better of Saturday’s eight matches overall, cutting the Internationals’ lead to three points before Sunday.
The Internationals led 7-3 after the first two sessions. Lee said the team had celebrated because it had done a good job, not because it had won anything, and said they knew the Americans would come out firing.
Lee had two wins, one halved match and one loss in his four appearances. He was set to face Jacob Bridgeman in Sunday singles.
