Michael Kiwanuka says he is recovering from a stroke he suffered a few months ago, which he said stemmed from a brain bleed caused by high blood pressure. He described the injury as severe, said extensive rehab lies ahead and is unsure when he can tour again.
Kiwanuka said the recovery caused him to miss some recent U.S. gigs. In the same post, he announced his forthcoming album, Fudge, and thanked medical professionals, friends and family for supporting him.
