Meta Platforms shares closed 1% higher Wednesday as analysts gave positive assessments of its new Muse AI agent. Two firms raised their price targets, citing Muse’s commercial potential, and maintained buy-equivalent ratings for the stock.
Stifel’s note said consumer AI agents such as Muse could boost growth in application services by offering shoppers tailored recommendations and easier purchases, potentially increasing e-commerce transactions. Cantor Fitzgerald raised its target to $860 from $680, and KeyBanc lifted its target to $900 from $780.
Muse is part of Meta’s Meta One premium package. The article describes it as a new revenue stream that could reduce the company’s reliance on advertising.
