Gary Cardone says Strategy’s STRC preferred shares earned him about $750,000. He says roughly $63,000 in monthly payouts helped him buy about 12 Bitcoin while keeping most of his capital out of crypto; he sees room for a pullback into the low-to-mid $70,000s.
Cardone said he invested in STRC near its par value rather than buying Bitcoin when it was around $98,000 a few months earlier. He said the monthly dividend income let him choose when to move back into cash or Bitcoin.
Bitcoin was near $83,000 when the article was written. Cardone said he turned bearish over the summer because he wanted to buy at $57,000 or less and would not pay $120,000, though he views Wall Street’s growing involvement positively. He suggested demand from spot Bitcoin ETFs and wealth managers could support prices during sell-offs. He expects Bitcoin to become more valuable as collateral, allowing holders to borrow against it instead of selling.
