On the third episode of The Real Housewives of New York City’s 16th season, aired Sept. 2, Martha Stewart told makeup artist and cast member Nicole Daisy Toye she could swap cornstarch for potato starch in a carrot soufflé for Toye’s Passover seder.
Toye said she expected “seven girls” at the seder and had already used the 24 eggs Stewart had given her; Stewart asked whether to bring more, then joked she had not been invited. Toye, Stewart’s makeup artist for 17 years, called her “the original influencer” and said her mother had looked up to Stewart.
